About Trailerly 🍿

Welcome 👋! Thank you so much for giving Trailerly a shot, we appreciate it more than you know. We are Hudson and Kai Etkin, 2 brothers in high school in the Bay Area. We made Trailerly because, on every family movie night, we'd obsess so much over finding the right movie to watch that we'd end up spending over an hour to pick a movie. We felt the Netflix or Amazon Prime home pages never recommended great movies, and trying to find a movie was otherwise extremely fragmented, needing to use google searches, movie blogs, IMDb, and youtube to find and vet a suitable movie. We believe that trailers are the best way to tell if a movie is right for you, so we set out to make one complete platform for movie discovery based on trailers. Think of the previews shown before a movie starts in theaters, but personalized to you and giving you complete control over what you watch. Trailerly has been a year in the making, spending our spare time after school working on it. We know it isn't close to perfect, so we are still learning and improving the product every day.
